So I’ve been blogging since 2005 but never took it seriously – mostly, because I enjoy the look and feel of a handwritten page in my journal. But after much consideration and much persuading, I have decided to finally take my typing more seriously because apparently technology is moving way beyond handwritten journals and into a new past time – blogging.

I must say this is quite a new venture and like any new undertaking, there comes a lot of challenges. I thought I was pretty technologically savvy until I started talking to Kevin about this and I realized a whole side of technology that I never knew existed. But that’s also why I have friends like Kevin.

Not only did Kevin talk me through this whole “blogging” thing and trying to figure out how to do it efficiently and the way I want to do it, he became my IT Support. He’s hosting my domain for me, and fixing all the errors that come up now and then, not to mention answer all those stupid little questions that I never thought I would ask – like “how do I post a picture” or “how do I change this text”? It sounds so simple right? And I thought I could handle it…but this technology world moved a whole lot faster than I did, that’s for sure.

So many kudos and thanks to Kevin for inspiring me to get back to finding myself through writing in a more efficient manner, and also for making it happen. You’re the best IT Support I could’ve asked for, so good – I think you’ll be getting a Christmas bonus this year.

And to all my friends and family who are about to join me along on this new blogging journey…I encourage you to do the same thing! In fact, I can think of a list of people right now who should be blogging – I love hearing about all your life experiences, so why not? (You know who you are) I’m just happy that I can share mine with you.
